HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS-1988-013-R-88February 3, 1988 • 13-R-88 A RESOLUTION Amending the 1988/89 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Budget to Reflect the Actual Amount of CDBG Funds Available to the City from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development WHEREAS, .the Evanston City Council with the passage of Resolution 5-R-88 did approve an application for 1988/89 Community Development Block Grant Entitlement funds and did direct the City Manager to file said application with the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development; and WHEREAS, the City of Evanston's 1988/89 CDBG Program, based on an estimated entitlement amount, was submitted to said United States Department on January 29, 1988; and • WHEREAS, said United States Department subsequently informed the City of Evanston that the final amount of funds available to the City was $2,241 less than the City's estimated budget; and WHEREAS, said United States Department has requested that the City of Evanston amend its original application; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Evanston, Cook County, Illinois hereby amends its 1988/89 Community Development Block Grant Program and approves the attached budget (marked as Exhibit A, and incorporated herein by reference) for funds under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, and directs that this amendment be filed on its behalf. tic,�c, i Mayor • ATTEST: City Clerk Adopted: EXHIBIT A Resolution 13-R-88 • ACTIVITY NUMBER 88;18.1 88;17.8 88;12.6(a) 88;5.2 88;5.1 88;5.7 88;5.5 88;5.8 88;5.6 88;5.3 88;5.4 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES AND FUNDING LEVELS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1988-89 FUNDING ACTIVITY LEVEL, Administration/Planning CDBG Administration Fair Housing Program Housing Planner (25%) Public Service Emergency Assistance Services Evanston Community Defender YWCA Shelter Project Food Aid Center of Evanston Literature Distribution Youth Job Center of Evanston, Inc.
