Home My WebLink AboutRESOLUTIONS-1985-023-R-8523-R-85 A RESOLUTION i Canvassing the Results of the Consolidated Election held on April 2, 1985, and Declaring the Results of Said Election I •WHEREAS, on the Second day of April, 1985, a consolidated election was held in and for the City of Evanston, Cook County, I Illinois, for the purpose of electing one Mayor; one City Clerk; one Alderman for each Ward, each to serve a full four (4) year term; and one Alderman for the Second Ward, to serve a two (2) year term; and WHEREAS, on the Second day of April, 1985, a consolidated election was held in and for the City of Evanston, Cook County, Illinois, for the purpose of conducting an Advisory Referendum to determine if the Illinois General Assembly shall propose a constitutional amendment to allow for the merit selection of circuit court and associate judges in Cook County; and WHEREAS, on the Second day of April, 1985, a i consolidated election was held in and for the Township of Evanston, Cook County, Illinois for the purpose of electing one Supervisor and one I i Assessor, each to serve a full four (4) year term; and I WHEREAS, said consolidated election was regularly called in the manner provided by law; and WHEREAS, the official Canvassing Boards consisting f. j of the Mayor, the City Clerk and the City Attorney for the City of Evanston-, 1 and the Town Supervisor, the Town Assessor and the Town Clerk for the Town of the City of Evanston find from the returns of said consolidated election that the following votes were cast for the candidates and referendum ,indicated: 0 �� OY E L.,�s� >-K 4 • CO.
