I :W 86-R-84 A RESOLUTION Designating Revised Signatories For Checks or Warrants Drawn Against the Emergency Assistance Services and Emergency Food Program Accounts WHEREAS, all checks and warrants drawn upon City accounts, except those drawn upon the accounts payable and the payroll imprest account, are required to be dually signed by the Finance Director or the Assistant Finance Director, and either the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Chief Accountant, or the City Clerk, or other official as designated in the approved Resoulution; and WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to designate revised signa- tories for the Emergency Assistance Services and Emergency Food Program Accounts at the First Bank of Evanston because of a change in the holder of the position of Director of Health and Human Services; WHEREAS, it is desirable that such funds, in the amounts not to exceed FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500.00) be available through checks or drafts • with a dual signatory to meet housing emergencies whenever they arise; 0 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Evanston that the following individuals are authorized signatories of checks and warrants drawn upon the Emergency Assistance Services and Emergency Food Program Accounts at the First Bank of Evanston in amounts not to exceed FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500.00): Helen McCarthy Director of Health & Human. -Services Robert A. Shonk - Finance Director Thomas R. Carlson - Deputy City Manager Joyce L. Thomas Emergency Assistance Coordinator Kathryn M. Booth - Assistant Finance Director Harry Sakai - Chief Accountant Such checks and warrants shall require two of the signatures authorized here- in. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be trans- mitted to the financial institution. City Clerk Adopted�i�ryLy
