A RESOLUTION
Upon the Death of Otto R. Hills
WHEREAS, Otto R. Hills departed this life on August 10, 1982;
WHEREAS, Otto R. Hills was an Alderman of the Sixth Ward of
the City of Evanston from 1957 to 1965; and
WHEREAS, Otto R. Hills, during hiis tenure as Alderman, served
on the Administration and Public Works and City -Chamber Committees; and
WHEREAS, Otto R. Hills served the Evanston community as
it
President of -School District 65, and the Evanston Township Board of School
I
(�. Trustees, and as Acting Mayor from July 30, 1962 to November 6, 1962; and

WHEREAS, Otto R. Hills was a prominent resident of the•City of
'f
Evanston who.served the citizens of the entire City with distinction; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Evanston desires to
pay tribute to Otto R. Hills;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of Evanston, on behalf of itself, the Mayor, City Manager, City
Officials, and residents of this community, expresses its heartfelt grief
and sense of loss at the passing of Otto R. Hills.
j' BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be
iprepared and presented to the members of his bereaved family.

Upon the Death of William F. Soule
WHEREAS, William F. Soule departed this life on August 13, 1982;
WHEREAS, William F. Soule was an Alderman of the Second Ward
of the City of Evanston from 1950 to 1961;� and
WHEREAS, during his tenure as Aliderman, he served as -a member

of the Lights, Building, Fire, Health, Streets, Civil Defense, Finance,
Planning,'Zoning and Land Use Committees, giving unselfishly of himself,
and serving the citizens of the entire community with distinction; and
I
WHEREAS, the City Council,of the City of .Evanston desires to
pay tribute to William F. Soule; i
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of Evanston, on behalf of itself, the Mayor, City Manager, City .
Officials, and residents of this community, expresses its heartfelt grief
and sense of loss at the passing of William F. Soule.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be
