HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS-1980-018-R-80t 2/18/80 S ' S/ A RESOLUTION Revising The 1979 Community.Development Block Grant Program Application WHEREAS, the Evanston City Council, with the passage of Resolution 10-R-79, did approve an application for Community Development Block Grant entitlement funds and did direct the City Manager to file said application with the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; and WHEREAS, the said application was approved June 29, 1979 by said U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Evanston by Resolution I* 34-R-79 did authorize the City Manager to take necessary actions to im- plement the 1979-80 Community Development Block Grant Program; and WHEREAS, the 1979 Community Development.Block Grant application contains a Community Development and Housing Plan Summary which identifies projects which will be implemented during fiscal years 1979, 1980 and 1981; and WHEREAS, the Community Development Committee has completed its recommended 1980 Community Development Block Grant application; and WHEREAS, the Community Development Committee has reviewed and revised the City's 1979 Community Development Block Grant application in light of the 1980 Community Development Block Grant application; and WHEREAS, the Community Development Committee did set aside a meeting to hear public opinion on said revision according to the City's S SI Community Development Citizen Participation Plan. 4 • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Evanston hereby.approves the revised Community Development and Housing Plan which is attached and which is a part of the 1979 Community Development Block Grant application and directs the City Manager to transmit this document to the appropriate State and Federal agencies. �P, or ` ATTEST: City Clerk Adopted: �� ,G,G�?� (/ � S , 1980 • i • / U.S. DEPAnTMENT OF IIOUSING�AND UnRAN OEVELOf'MFNT % COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND 11OUSING PLAN SUMMAIIY TFIREE YEAR PROJECT SUMMARY NAMEii APPLICANT J..PEnIODOFAPPLICAntLiTY A'. ------ ----- - --.-- CITY OF EVANSTON (_._� Otigtnnl'(Evnry rfrran ynartl 1.
