HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS-1980-017-R-80i 2/18/80 1�1 17-R-80 4 A RESOLUTION Revising The 1980 Community Development Block Grant Program Application WHEREAS, the Evanston City Council, with the passage of Resolution 6-R-80, did approve an application for Community Development Block Grant entitlement funds and did direct the City Manager to file said application with the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; and WHEREAS, the entitlement amount for the 1980 Community Development Block Grant application was $2,034,000; and • WHEREAS, the City of Evanston recently received notification from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development that the City's 1980 Community Development Block Grant entitlement amount has been increased to $2,331,000; and WHEREAS, 1979 program income for the City's single family rehabili- tation program totals $18,500; and WHEREAS, the Housing and Community Development Committee held a public meeting and has now completed its recommendations for the additional $315,500; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Evanston, Cook County, Illinois, hereby amends its sixth year Community • Development Block Grant application to, include the attached activities and directs the City Manager to transmit this document to the appropriate State i 17-R-80 and Federal agencies.
