A RESOLUTION
Appointing Board, Commission, and Committee Members
WHERAS, the City of Evanston has multiple Boards, Commissions and
Committees and certain vacancies exist due to the expiration of terms of current members;
and
WHEREAS, the Mayor has reviewed the applications of interested
candidates to fill these positions and recommends the following appointments based on their
qualifications, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it in the best interest of the City of Evanston to
approve the appointment of the recommended individuals,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council hereby affirms the Mayor’s appointments of:
• Mark Boergers: To position 10 on the Evanston Arts Council for a first term expiring
September 28, 2029
• Chris Greene: To position 11 on the Evanston Arts Council for a first term expiring
September 28, 2029
• Eva Silverman: To position 12 on the Evanston Arts Council for a first term expiring
September 28, 2029
• Scott Adkins: To position 9 on the Evanston Arts Council for a first term expiring
September 28, 2029
• Jim Burgess: To position 8 on the Healthy Buildings Accountability Board for a first term
expiring September 28, 2029
• Jim Burgess: To position 3 on the Healthy Buildings Technical Committee for a first
term expiring September 28, 2029

• Katie MacDonald: To position 6 on the Housing and Community Development
Committee for a first term expiring September 28, 2029
• Lisa Dziekan: To continue serving as Economic Development Professional/Economist
on the Economic Development Committee for a second term expiring September 28,
2029
SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by municipal code.
