A RESOLUTION
Authorizing the City Manager to Execute an Agreement with CDW
Government Inc. (120 S. Riverside, Chicago, IL 60606) for the Purchase
to Renew Cisco SmartNet Support
WHEREAS, the object of the purchase is to renew Cisco SmartNet as a technical
support, maintenance, and hardware replacement contract for network infrastructure
and
WHEREAS, the Evanston City Council believes entering into an Agreement with
CDW Government, Inc. is in the best interests of the citizens of Evanston,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to sign,
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to attest on behalf of the City of
Evanston, an Agreement between the City and CDW Government, Inc.
SECTION 2: That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to
negotiate any terms of an Agreement as may be determined to be in the best interests
of the City.
SECTION 3: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
