A RESOLUTION
Approval of Annual Membership Dues to the
Northwest Municipal Conference for 2026-2027
WHEREAS, the City of Evanston is a member of the Northwest Municipal
Conference (NWMC), a regional association of over 40 municipalities that work to
strengthen communities and enhance intergovernmental relationships.
WHEREAS, the Evanston City Council believes renewing the annual
membership is in the best interests of the citizens of Evanston,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council approve renewing the City of Evanston’s
annual membership with the Northwest Municipal Conference.
SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
