A RESOLUTION
Authorizing the City Manager to Approve a Purchase Order with Al
Warren Oil Company, Inc. (1646 Summer Street, Hammond, IN 46320)
for the Purchase of Fuel for City Owned Vehicles and Equipment
WHEREAS, the City of Evanston must provide fuel all city owned vehicles and
equipment; and
WHEREAS, the Evanston City Council believes approving an purchase order with
Al Warren Oil Company, Inc. through the the current Suburban Purchasing Cooperative
(SPC) contract #230, is in the best interests of the citizens of Evanston,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to sign, and
the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to attest on behalf of the City of Evanston,
a purchase order from the City to Al Warren Oil Company, Inc.
SECTION 2: That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to negotiate
any terms of an Agreement as may be determined to be in the best interests of the City.
SECTION 3: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
