Staff requests authorization to amend the Terms of Service Contract with The Blueprint Shoppe,
Inc. Following the contract renewal in July 2024, the United States Postal Service implemented
a rate increase of $0.35. Consequently, The Blueprint Shoppe has proposed a revised contract
rate of $1.33 per notice, all inclusive.
The City is tasked with distributing public notices to businesses and residents for matters
involving the Plan Commission and the Zoning Board of Appeals. While City staff coordinates
these mailings, the associated costs for printing, postage, and processing are the responsibility
of the applicant. The City has utilized The Blueprint Shoppe to manage these services on behalf
of applicants, who are invoiced directly for all costs incurred.
