Subject: Approval of Contract Renewal with Sticky Fingers

Recommended Action:
Staff recommends that the City Manager approve a contract renewal with Sticky Fingers
(825 S. Waukegan Rd. Ste A8 PMB 1086, Lake Forest, IL 60045) for instruction of
cooking classes and camps. This will be the second year of a (2) year option to renew.
The agreement period will run from January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026. The
purchase order shall not exceed $17,000.
Funding Source:
Revenue from program registrations is deposited into the General Fund Account,
Chandler-Newberger Center Business Unit 130.30.3035.53565 and instructional
expenses are paid from Chandler-Newberger Business Unit 130.30.3035.62505 which
has a $600,000 budgeted allocation. Compensation for the vendor is based on the
following amount of revenue collected:

For 2026, staff is projecting $24,500 in revenues and $17,000 in expenses. For 2025,
revenue for cooking camps was approximately $15,800 and expenses were
approximately $10,982.
Summary:
Sticky Fingers has taught over 125,000 students in more than 1,000 school s across the
U.S. No kitchen necessary. Their 6–14-week sessions teach kids to cook and eat
internationally-inspired recipes in a fun, hands-on way. Sticky Fingers emphasizes
cooking skills, kitchen safety, nutrition, and the value of fresh ingredients.
All of their chef instructors are trained, FBI fingerprint background checked, and certif ied
by ServeSafe in proper food handling.

Sticky Fingers will provide all instruction, equipment and staff for the classes and
camps.
Staff recommends proceeding with executing the contract renewal with Sticky Fingers
for their fun programming.

sections listed below and any attachments referenced in this Agreement, constitutes the entire Agreement between the Parties concerning the subject
matter of the Agreement, and supersedes all prior proposals, Agreements and understandings between the Parties concerning the subject
matter of the Agreement. This Agreement can be signed in multiple counterparts and signature may be electronic or digital upon agreement of the
Parties.
