A RESOLUTION
Authorizing the City Manager to Execute an Agreement with United
States Alliance Fire Protection, Inc. for Required Annual Inspections
and Repairs for Multiple Fire Protection Systems across Multiple City
Owned Facilities
WHEREAS, the City of Evanston must provide annual and maintenance services
for all fire protection systems for various City owned properties; and
WHEREAS, the Evanston City Council believes approving an Agreement with
United States Alliance Fire Protection, Inc. is in the best interests of the citizens of
Evanston,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to sign, and
the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to attest on behalf of the City of Evanston,
an Agreement between the City and United States Alliance Fire Protection, Inc.
SECTION 2: That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to negot iate
any terms of an Agreement as may be determined to be in the best interests of the City.
SECTION 3: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
