A RESOLUTION
Appointing Board, Commission, and Committee Members
WHERAS, the City of Evanston has multiple Boards, Commissions and
Committees and certain vacancies exist due to the expiration of terms of current members;
and
WHEREAS, the Mayor has reviewed the applications of interested
candidates to fill these positions and recommends the following appointments based on their
qualifications, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it in the best interest of the City of Evanston to
approve the appointment of the recommended individuals,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council hereby affirms the Mayor’s appointments of:
• Ashley Lee (911-Emergency Telephone System Board) for a first term expiring April 27,
2028.
• Barry Miller (Citizen Police Review Commission) for a second term expiring April 27, 2029.
• Scott Fishman (Citizen Police Review Commission) for a second term expiring March 30,
2028.
• Donna Stevens (Commission on Aging and Disabilities) for a second term expiring
November 8, 2027.
• Gia Schultz (Commission on Aging and Disabilities) for a first term expiring April 27, 2029.
• Drew Beckman (Economic Development Committee) for a first term expiring April 27, 2029.

• Katarina Topalov (Environment Board) for a second term expiring April 27, 2029.
• Paula Scholl (Environment Board) for a second term expiring April 27, 2029.
• Jasmine Winfield (Equity and Empowerment Commission) for a first term expiring April
27, 2029.
• Mehr Manzoor (Equity and Empowerment Commission) for a first term expiring April 27,
2029.
• Shelley Carrillo (M/W/D/EBE Development Committee) for a first term expiring April 27,
2028.
• Jeanne Sylvester (Preservation Commission) for a first term expiring April 27, 2029.
SECTION 2 : That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by municipal code.
