Section 1 – Cash and Investment Position
A comparison between the 4th Quarter 2025 and 3rd Quarter 2025 cash/ investments indicate a decrease
in combined cash & investments of $29,425,741 from $130,069,412 to $100,643,672. The decrease is
primarily driven by payments of Capital projects, continued delay in the disbursement of the second
installment of property tax from Cook County, drawdown of ARPA funds, and the December debt service
payment.
During the 4th Quarter 2025, we continued to focus on maintaining liquidity while striving for the maximum
returns on Cash and Investments. We will continue to monitor the interest rate environment and overall
economy.
