A RESOLUTION
Authorizing the City Manager to
Accept a Grant from the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board
(ILETSB) in the Amount of $689,013.83
WHEREAS, the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board (ILETSBB) Law
Enforcement Camera Grant was created to help eligible Illinois law enforcement agencies to pay for in-
car cameras, body-worn cameras, body-camera storage, and related training to support transparency,
accountability, evidence collection, and officer preparedness; and
WHEREAS, the Evanston Police Department was awarded the grant in the amount of
$689,013.83,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to sign the acceptance of
the ILETSB grant.
SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
