A RESOLUTION
Appointing Board, Commission, and Committee Members
WHERAS, the City of Evanston has multiple Boards, Commissions and
Committees and certain vacancies exist due to the expiration of terms of current members;
and
WHEREAS, the Mayor has reviewed the applications of interested
candidates to fill these positions and recommends the following appointments based on their
qualifications, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it in the best interest of the City of Evanston to
approve the appointment of the recommended individuals,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the City Council hereby affirms the Mayor’s appointments of:
•Krista Fabian DeCastro (Evanston Arts Council) for a second term expiring
March 31, 2027.
•Yancey Hughes (Evanston Arts Council) for a second term expiring March
23, 2029.
•Murphy Monroe (Commission on Aging and Disabilities) for a second term
expiring March 23, 2029.
•Katie Fasullo (Commission on Aging and Disabilities) for a second term
expiring March 23, 2029.
•Christopher Swanson (Animal Welfare Board) for a second term expiring
March 23, 2029.

• Kate Moss (Citizen Police Review Commission) for a second term expiring
March 23, 2029.
• Bradley Gottloeb (Public Safety Civil Service Commission) for a second
term expiring March 23, 2029.
• Scott Henry (Lighthouse Landing Complex Committee) who was invited by
Chair/Councilmember Davis.
SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by municipal code.
