Total due to B&B Productions is $11,487.50 Funding Source: Expenses will be charged to GL 100.30.3500.62509 which has a YTD balance of $27,000. Summary: The Starlight Series is celebrating its 26th year in Evanston, and we are in the process of securing a purchase order with B&B Productions due to their competitive pricing. After obtaining three quotes, B&B Productions provided the lowest cost for all required items in our initial request. This year, there are two separate contracts with B&B Productions. One contract covers an upgraded sound system and stage for two events, while the other provides a standard sound and stage setup. These services were selected based on the varying park sizes and the anticipated audience capacity at each location. The two contracts are attached for signature. The amount of $11,487.50 represents the amount we would need to pay B&B Productions for their services. Great to hear from you. I don’t actually own a stage, but could rent one for these events. The company I usually use would charge approximately $1500 per event for a professional quality 24x16 stage. As far as sound goes I could provide a system for approximately $2500. This would include four main speakers, two subs, up to 6 monitors, a 40 channel mixer, and all needed mics, stands, cables, etc. This rate would also include two engineers that would be there to work the entire event. FYI, I would need to charge a bit more for the Juneteenth event because labor would cost me more. I also have some lights if needed. If an estimated cost per event of $4000 works for you I’d be happy to send a formal quote. I have a little room to negotiate, but these are my usual starting rates. I’d be happy to jump on a call and discuss. I hope we can help you out this year! We do a lot of work with the Chicago Park District and would definitely like to add Evanton to our summer schedule! I wish I could say we are cheaper than we used to be, but with the ever increasing cost of doing business we aren’t. Here are some prices. Basic Sound and Stage (16’ wide x 8’ deep) = $2,500 Sound Only = $1,800 Stage Only = $1,500 – Most of these costs are trucking and labor, that is why there isn’t any steep discount to take 1 or the other service off. These are as low as I can go at this point in time. If the work within your budget I can work on the official quotes for you this week. Let me know!
