Recommended Action:
Staff recommends the City Manager execute a sole source agreement with Hot Shots Sports
(4055 W Peterson Ave, Chicago IL 60646) for instruction of youth ninja warrior classes at the
South End Community Center.
Funding Source:
Program registration revenue is deposited into South End Community Center Business Unit
100.30.3505.53565 and instructional expenses are paid from South End Business Unit
100.30.3505.62505 which has a FY25 $80,000 budgeted allocation.
Compensation for the vendor is based on the following amount of revenue collected:

Classes 60% 40%
For 2025, staff is projecting a total of $10,572 in revenues and approximately $15,860 in
expenses.
Summary:
Classes are typically 45-60 minutes long and occur once a week. We will offer two (2) different
classes each season that will be offered two (2) different days. Each season will run 8-11
classes. Staff recommends proceeding with creating a contract with Hot Shot Sports to expand
weekday and weekend youth class offerings.
