AN ORDINANCE
Amending Schedule X(Q) of City Code Section 10-11-10,
“Schedule X; Limited Parking”
WHEREAS, the Evanston City Council determined that the parking meter
rates at the Lakefront have not increased in years; and
WHEREAS, the Evanston City Council finds that it is in the best interest of
the City of Evanston or amend the lakefront parking meter rates;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: Schedule X(Q) of City Code Subsection 10-11-10,
“Schedule X; Limited Parking” of the Evanston City Code of 2012, as amended, is
hereby further amended as follows:
10-11-10. – SCHEDULE X; LIMITED PARKING.
SCHEDULE X(Q).:
(Q)Lakefront parking at a rate of $3.00 3.75 an hour April 1 throught
October 31, and a rate of $0.50 an hour from November 1 through
March 31 between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., 7 days a week in the
following areas:
Exceptions: A vehicle belonging to a registered Evanston residential
address and having a current year wheel tax paid.

SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: If any provision of this Ordinance 99-O-24 or application
thereof to any person or circumstance is held unconstitutional or otherwise invalid, such
invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of this Ordinance that can be
given effect without the invalid application or provision, and each invalid application of
this Ordinance is severable.
SECTION 4: Ordinance 99-O-24 shall be in full force and effect after its
passage and approval.
SECTION 5: The findings and recitals contained herein are declared to
be prima facie evidence of the law of the City and shall be received in evidence as
provided by the Illinois Compiled Statutes and the courts of the State of Illinois.
