Reducing tho membership categories from 8 to 6 was not seen as a
serious problem by the Board. The general consesus was that
membership would not go down as a result.
The Board then examined the fee structure for membership. After
much discussion Shelia moved that Individual memberships be $15,
Family memberships be $35, and Contributing memberships be $50.
Dave seconded the motion and the Board approved.
Jean pointed out that we need to have definitions fear each
category. This could be done on a separte piece that may or may
not be inserted into the general promotional brochure. It was
the general consensus that a contributing members neoded an
incentive. Some suggested incentives were; an EEA t-shirt, a
gift item. or a girt certificate for the bookstore.
New membership fees will go into effect with the publicanion of
the new promotional brochure.
