Strategic Planning
Neal reviewed the EEA long range plan. While the plan still
has areas to be completed it will provide the basic
reference document for future short and long range
objectives. Linda will work on developing objectives that
are consistent with the plan. At the next meeting the Hoard
will help prior:,i_e and refine those objectives.
Particularly important areas to focus on include financial
management and membership.
The committe's consensus was that membership should be
pursued in an aggressive manner with perhaps direct mail
and/or an annual membership/appeal drive. Alberta
suggested; the need for additional help from outside the
staff.
Montai y Report
Monthly reports on EEA sponsored activities at the Ecology
Center and the Lighthouse complex will now be distributed to
Board members when they receive their meeting agendas.
Linda will prepare a monthly report that focuses on events,
stat::s of revenue accounts, budgetary and programming
matters. Members can review the report prior to meeting
and discuss any items of concern.
