Three residents requested strategic plan for youth violence
Resident inquired regarding police response times to reports of shots
fired and whether follow-up services exist for families impact by violence
o Deputy Chief Jamraz answered that reports of shots fired are
Priority 1 are responded to immediately, and that services to exist
for families impacted by violence
Resident wants to save trees at Kendall development and spoke on
behalf of another resident
Two residents made strong request for more information from Police

regarding recent homicides
Resident shared information regarding an independent group at
Fleetwood-Jourdain for how to file police complaints

Staff recommends City Council hold the following three (3) ordinances to designate the
proposed Chicago/Main TIF District until the next regular City Council meeting of
January 28, 2013. A formal resolution will accompany the Chicago/Main TIF District
Implementation Plan when considered by the City Council for final adoption at that time.
These three ordinances (A5-A7) were introduced at the December 10, 2012 City
Council meeting.
