At the call of Mayor Lorraine H. Morton, pursuant to Council Rule 16.3, a SPECIAL MEETING of the City Council was
held for the purpose of convening into a Special Executive Session for matters of Personnel and Real Estate at 7:30 p.m.
on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 in the Aldermanic Library.
Alderman Bernstein moved that Council convene into a Special Executive Session to discuss matters of personnel and
real estate pursuant to 5 Illinois Compiled Statutes 120/2 ( c ) (1) (5) and (6) as follows:
(1) The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body, or
legal counsel for the public body, including' earing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee of the public body or against
legal counsel for the public body to determine its validity.
(5) The purchase or lease of real property for the use of the public Body, including meetings held for the purpose of discussing whether
a particular parcel should be acquired.
(6) The setting of a price for sale or lease of property owned by the public body.
Seconded by Alderman Wollin.
Roll call. Voting aye — Tisdahl, Rainey, Hansen, Wollin, Jean -Baptiste, Bernstein, Holmes, Moran. Voting nay— none.
Motion carried. (8-0)
At 9:50 p.m. Alderman Rainey moved that Council reconvene into Open Session. Seconded by Alderman Holmes.
Motion carried unanimouslv. There being no further business to come before the Council, Mayor Morton asked for a
motion to adjourn and the Council so moved at 9:50 p.m.
