HomeMy WebLinkAbout36-O-60875 • • 0 V 36-0-60 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "An ordinance to classify, regulate and restrict the location of trades and in- dustries and the location of buildings designed for specified uses and to regulate and limit the height and bulk of buildings hereafter erected, to regulate and limit the intensity of the use of lot areas of yards, courts and other open spaces within and surrounding such buildings and to establish the boundaries of districts for the said purposes and prescribing penalties for the violation of its.provisions," adopted by the City Council of the City of Evanston on January 18, 1921, and approved by the Mayor of said City on January 19, 1921, as amended March 25, 1940, hereinafter called the "ZONING ORDINANCE" BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: That a variation from the height and front yard regulations of the zoning ordinance so far as said regulations pertain to the property in the City of Evanston located at 355 RIDGE AVENUE and legally described as - Lot two (2) (except the East 669.0 feet thereof) all of Lot three (3) and that part of Lot five (5) lying North of a line 1462.61 feet North of and parallel with the South line of the N A JA of Section 30, Township 41 N., Range 14, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in County Clerk's Division of Unsubdivided lands in the N.W.Y of Section 30, Township 41 N., Range 14 East of the Third Principal Meridian, (excepting the Westerly 33 feet of said lots taken for Ridge Avenue,) is hereby granted, permitted and made so as to permit ST. FRANCIS HOSPITAL to construct an addition to the West side of the present hospital being located at 355 Ridge Avenue, in accordance with plans submitted and subsequently revised, r 8T, • • • filed with and set forth in the findings of the Zoning Board of Appeals, subject also to the off-street parking offered by the hospital at the original hearing before the Zoning Board of Appeals to provide a minimum of 419 marked parking spaces, all in accordance with the findings of the Zoning Board of Appeals. SECTION 2: The Director of Building is ordered 1 and directed to grant a permit to St. Francis Hospital, subject to the provisions referred to under Section 1 of this ordinance and in accordance with the recommendations of the Zoning Board of Appeals. All actions of the Director of Building which have been taken and which conform to the provisions of this ordinance are hereby ratified and approved. SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval, nnaccording to law.
