AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED
"An Ordinance to classify, regulate and restrict
the location of trades and industries and the
location of buildings designed for specified uses
and to regulate and limit the height and bulk of
buildings hereafter erected, to regulate and limit
the intensity of the use of lot areas of yards,
courts and other open spaces within and surrounding
such buildings and to establish the boundaries of
districts for the said purposes and prescribing
penalties for the violation of its provisions,"
adopted by the City Council of the City of Evanston
on January 18, 1921, and approved by the Mayor of
said City on January 19, 1921, as amended March
25, 1940, hereinafter called the
"ZONING ORDINANCE"
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That a variation from the rear
yard regulations so far as said
regulations pertain to the property in the City of Evanston
located at 1903-1907 Dobson Street, and legally described as -
Lots 8, 9 and 10.(except that part of said lots
taken for streets) in Block 1 in Wm. Hayden
Bell's Howard -Dodge Terminal Subdivision of the
S.W2 of the S.E.114 of the N.W.Y4 (except the south
2.572 acres thereof) of Section 25,*Township 41
N., Range 13, East of the Third Principal Meridian*
in Cook County; Illinois,

is hereby granted, permitted and made so as to permit Mr. and
Mrs. Ned Langer to construct and attach a two -car garage
addition on the west side of their two -unit row house and to
extend the garage one foot south of the building line in order
to leave existing window space in the house free, provided th&t _
the steel shed now located at the north side of said Wilding
be removed and said area be returned to parking space.
SECTION 2: The Director of Building is ardered
and directed to grant a permit to

garage addition, subject to the conditions specified in Section

li 1 of this ordinance, all in accordance with the findings of the
Zoning Board of Appeals. All actions of the Director of Building'

this ordinance are hereby ratified and approved..
