HomeMy WebLinkAbout06-O-606-0-60 AN ORDINANCE • AMENDING AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "An Ordinance to classify, regulate and restrict the location of trades and industries and the location of buildings designed for specified uses and to regulate and limit the height and bulk of buildings hereafter erected, to regulate and limit the intensity of the use of lot areas of yards, courts and other open spaces within and surrounding such buildings and to establish the boundaries of districts for the said purposes and prescribing penalties for the violation of its provisions," adopted by the City Council of the City of Evanston on January 16, 1921, and approved by the Mayor of said City on January 19, 1921, as amended March 25, 1940, hereinafter called the "ZUNING ORDINANCE" BE IT ORDAINED BY IHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS.: SECTION 1: That a variation from the Area • regulations of the zoning ordinance so far as said regulations pertain to the property in the City of Evanston, located at 605-607 Case Place, and legally described as - Lots 7 and 8 in Howard Terminal Addition, in the Southwest Quarter (SW'/) of the Northeast Quarter (NE%) of Section 30, Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois, is hereby granted, permitted and made so as to permit DiSILVESTRO BROS. WONSTRUCTION CO. to alter and convert the twelve -apartment building located at 605-607 Case Place, into a thirteen -apartment building subject to the condition that the off-street harking be approved by the Traffic Engineer and the Director of Building, so as to provide the required • 810 parking for the thirteenth apartment, all in accordance with the findings of the Zoning Board of Appeals. SECTION 2.- The Director of Building is ordereO and directed to grant a permit to DiSILVESTRO BROS. CONSTRUCTION CO. to alter and convert the twelve -apartment building located at 605-607 Case Place, into a thirteen -apartment building subject to the condition that the off-street parking be approved by the Traffic Engineer and the Director of Building, so as to provide the required parking for the thirteenth apartment, in accordance with the findings of the Zoning Board of Appeals. All actions of the Director of Building which have been taken and which conform to the pro- visions of this ordinance are hereby ratified and approved.
