AMENDING AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "An Ordinance to classify, regulate and restrict the location of trades and industries and the location of buildings designed for specified uses and to regulate and limit the height and bulk of buildings hereafter erected, to regulate and limit the intensity of the use of lot areas of yards, courts and other open spaces within and surrounding such buildings and to establish the boundaries of districts for the said purposes and prescribing penalties for the violation of its provisions," adopted by the City Council of the City of Evanston on January 18, 1921, and approved by the Mayor of said City on January 19, 1921, as amended March 25, 1940, hereinafter called the "ZONING ORDINANCE" BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COUlC COUNTY, ILLINOIS: i SECTION 1: That a variation from the Use regulations of the zoning ordinance so far as said regulations pertain to the property in the City of Evanston, located at 2768-82 Crawford Avenue, and legally described as - Lot 1 in Westmoreland Lawns a resub. of Block 1, Lots 1 to 10 and 14 to 18 inclusive, in Block 2, Lots 9 to 13 inclusive in Block 3, all in Highlands Terminal Third Addition, being a sub- division in the West 16 of Sec. 33, Township 42.N., Range 13, East of the Third Principal Meridian; together with that part of Clifford Avenue, now vacated, lying W.'ly of the W:1t line extended, of Crawford Avenue; and East of the west line extended of said Blocks 1 and 2 also together with all of the 16.0 ft. public alleys, now vacated, in said Block 2 (except that part of the N.W.'ly and S.E. I;y alley in said Block 2 lying S.'2y of the Silly line of said Lot 10) all in Cook County, Illinois, is hereby granted, permitted and made so as to permit WILLIAM J. LONNQUIST to construct a four -unit town house on the property • located at 2768-82 Crawford Avenue, all in accordance with the 1 i f .I 728 I i findings of the Zoning Board of Appeals. i SECTION 2: The Director of Building is ordered and directed to grant a permit to • I WILLIAM J. LONNQUIST to construct a four -unit town house at 2768-82 Crawford Avenue, in accordance with the findings of the Zoning Board of Appeals. All actions of the Director of Building which have been taken and which conform to the provisions of this ordinance are hereby ratified and approved. SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval, according to law.
