I BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY t OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: i i SECTION 1: That the name of the public street in the City of Evanston now designated as East Railroad Avenue extending in a Northwesterly ' direction from the Sanitary District Canal to Isabella Street, E be and the same is hereby changed to POPLAR AVENUE, by which I' name it shall hereafter be known on and after March 1, 1962.. ?i SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of litordinances in conflict herewith ij ,i are hereby amended as herein provided. That a local improvement shall be made within the City of Evanston, County of Cook and State of Illinois, the nature, character, locality and description of which is as follows, to -wit: That the roadways of the public alleys in the Block bounded on the north by the Right -of -Way of the Metropolitan Sanitary District of Chicago, on the south by Foster Street, on the east by Brown Avenue and on the west by Grey Avenue, in the City of Evanston, County of Cook and State of Illinois, be improved by grading, paving to a width of fifteen (15) feet as to the east and west alley and the north portion of the north and south alley and seven (7) feet as to the south portion of the north and south alley with a Portland Cement Concrete pavement eight (8) inches thick, constructing necessary storm sewers and drainage structures; Section 2. That the Recommendation of this Ordinance by the Board of Local Improvements of the City of Evanston, Illinois, and the Estimate of the cost of said improvement made by the Engineer of said Board, both hereto attached, be and the same are hereby approved and by reference thereto made a part hereof; and that the attached Plans and Specifications of said improvement are also hereby approved and by reference thereto made a pert hereof; Section 3. That said improvement shall be made and the cost thereof, including the sum of - Nine Hundred, Fifty-five and no/100 - - - ($955.00) - - Dollars, being the costs of making and collecting the Assessment and all other expenses as provided by law, shall be paid for by Special Assessment in accordance with an Act of the General Assembly of the State of Illinois; known as the "Revised Cities and Villages Act," approved August 15, 1941, and the Amendments thereto; Section 4. That the aggregate amount to be assessed and each individual assessment shall be divided into ---------- telD___i.1..0.1----------- installments in the manner rovi ed by law, and each of said installments shall bear interest at the rate of ______-SiF------ per centum _.�_ -____ per annum from the date of the first voucher issued on account of work done upon said proposed improvement; Section 5.
