AN ORDINANCE
Granting the Appeal of Max J.
• Pinski for a variation from
the Use Regulations of the
Evanston Zoning Ordinance
adopted November 21, 1960.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That a variation from the Use
regulations of the Evanston Zoning
Ordinance adopted November 21, 1960, so far as said regulations
pertain to the property in the City of Evanston located at
727-729 Howard Street, and legally described as -
Lot 27 in Block 8 in Brummel and Case Howard
Terminal Addition, a subdivision of all that
part of the N.W.k of Section 30, Township
41 North, Range 14 East of the Third Principal
• Meridian, also Lot 28, except the east 5 feet
thereof,
is hereby granted, permitted and made so as to permit Max
J. Pinski to erect a projecting business sign on his building
at 727-279 Howard Street, for a period of three years from
April 1, 1961, provided that a bond approved by the city in
amount of $10,000 be tendered by Mr. Pinski agreeing that the
sign will be removed by April 1, 1964, and upon failure to so
do, the bond will be forfeited.
SECTION 2: The Director of Building is ordered
and directed to grant a permit to
Max J. Pinski, subject to conditions referred to under Section
1 of this ordinance, and in accordance with the recommendation
• of the Zoning Board of Appeals.

SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after
,its passage and approval, according to law.
