• AN ORDINANCE
Granting a Special Use Permit
and Denying a Variation from
the Intensity Regulations of
the Evanston Zoning Ordinance
Adopted November 21, 1960.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the appeal of Cali -Howard Homes,
Inc. for a variation from the
intensity regulations, and for a special use permit under the
Evanston Zoning Ordinance adopted November 21, 1960 so far as
said regulations pertain to the property in the City of
Evanston located at 142 Asbury Avenue, and legally described as -
Lots 119 and 120 in the 1st Addition to Duna's
Howard Avenue Subdivision, being a subdivision
in the South !� of the Northeast �14 of Section
25, Township 41 North, Range 13 East of the
Third Principal Meridian, commonly known as
142 Asbury Avenue, Evanston, Cook County, Illinois,
is hereby granted, permitted and made so as to permit Cal -
Howard Homes, Inc., to use the building to be located on the
aforesaid premises below the second floor for dwelling purposes
as a Special Use, subject to all provisions of the Evanston
Zoning Ordinance. The appeal for a variation from the intensity
regulations of the zoning ordinance so as to permit construction
of an apartment building to contain more than 7.one-bedroom units,
be and the same is hereby denied, all in accordance with the
plans submitted before the Zoning Board of Appeals.
SECTION 2: The Director of Building is ordered
and directed.tci grant a permit
to Cal --Howard Homes., Inc., to permit the use of the

building to be located on the aforesaid premises below the
. second floor for dwelling }purposes, all in accordance with
the findings and recommendations of the Zoning Board of Appeals.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in.full
farce and effect From and after
its passage and approval, according to law.
