AN ORDINANCE
Amending Sections 19-69, 19-73
and 19-76 of the Code of the
City of Evanston 1957, as amended,
"Bakeries."
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS-
SECTION 1: The definition of bakeries provided
under Section 19-69, the license
fees provided under Section 19-73 and the fees for vehicles provided
under Section 19-76 of the Code of the City of Evanston 1957, be
amended so that said sections shall hereafter be and read as follows
Section 19-69� A bakery is hereby defined as a place used
• for any process of mixing, compounding and baking any bread,
biscuits, crackers, rolls, cake, pies or any food product
of which flour or meal is a principal ingredient, for sale
at retail or at wholesale, provided however, that it shall
not include licensed restaurants where the foregoing food
products are mixed and baked for consumption in such restaurant
only.
Section 19-73. Any person maintaining or operating any
bakery as defined in Section 19-69 shall pay an annual license
fee of $25 for each bakery so maintained, and in addition
thereto, $3 for each employee in excess of three. All such
licenses shall expire on the 31st day of December of the year
in which said license is issued.

Section 19-76- In addition to the annual license fee
provided in Section 19-73, there shall be paid to the City
Collector a fee of $25 for each vehicle in excess of two
used within the City of Evanston for the delivery of bakery
goods.
SECTION 2< Sections 19-69, 19-73 and 19-76 of
the Code of the City of Evanston
1957, be and the same are hereby expressly repealed and all or-
dinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
SECTION 3; This ordinance shall be in full
• force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and publication, according to law.
