BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1- That Section 27-81.3 of the Code of the City of Evanston, 1957, as amended, be and the same is further amended by adding thereto the following streets or public thorough- fares or portions thereof, whereby it has been determined upon the basis of an engineering and traffic investigation that the speed . of vehicles permitted by the statutes of the State of Illinois is greater than is reasonable or safe under the conditions found to exist upon such streets, and it is hereby declared that the max- imum speed limit shall be 25 miles per hour when signs are erected giving notice thereof.
