BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: All that portion of the east -west alley in the block north of Monroe Street and east of Ridge Avenue, and legally described as - Sixteen 16' foot Public Alley lying South of and adjoining Lot 8 in Block 4, in Grove 0*1 Addition to Evanston, in the Southwest % of Section 19, Township 41 North, Range 14, -- East of the Third Principal Meridian, in the City of Evanston, Cook County, Illinois, as cross -hatched and indicated by the words "HEREBY VACATED" on • the plat hereto attached, which plat for greater certainty is hereby made a part of this ordinance, be and the same is hereby vacated and closed, inasmuch as the same is no longer required for public use and the public will be subserved by such vacation, provided however, that said vacation shall be subject to any public utilities presently installed or located therein, together with right of egress and ingress for maintenance of the same.
