pal Court building in 1965; another
is a $450,000 building for the health
department in 1966.
Next year's park and recreation
projects would cost $613,000. The
program includes an ice skating
rink, $325,000; first year of the

$100,000 for new park land.

Mr. Johnson also proposes $280,-

Plans for a boat harbor and fish-

gram after 1966, with the cost set
at $150,000. The means for financ-

in the program schedule.
The manager said plans should
also be made for an expenditure of
$220,000 for additional parking lots,
including $20,000 next .year and
$50,000 a year each year until 1966.
These funds would come from pro-
ceeds in parking revenue, he said.

Additional parking through a
land exchange between the city

the program, but is designated as
a no -cost item because improve-

(The city is negotiating to trade
streets on the south part of the
Northwestern campus for land
owned by the university in the
downtown area. Part of this land
will be used for the rerouting of
Clark street from Sheridan road to

used for parking lots.)
