AN ORDINANCE
Granting the Appeal of Oakton
Corporation for a Variation
from the Fence Regulations of
the Evanston Zoning Ordinance#
Adopted November 219 1960
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS3
SECTION 1: That a variation from the
fence regulations of the
Evanston Zoning Ordinance, adopted November 21# 1960, so far as
said regulations pertain to the property in the City of Evanston,
located at 636 Pitner Avenue, and legally described as -
Lot 2 in Hess's Subdivision of Part of the North
300 feet of the West two-thirds of the Southwest
quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 24*
Township 41 North, Range 13, East of the Third
Principal Meridian," In Cook Cotnty, Illinois,,
also, that part of the North 5 feet (as measured
at right angles t6 the North line) of Lot "All In
oakton Consolidation in the said Southwest quarter
of the Southwest quarter lying west of the east
line of the aforesaid Lot 2 extended South and
except that part of the said North 5 feet lyin
west ,of' a line drawn at right angles to the sa?d
North line of Lot "All through the northwesterly
corner thereof,
is hereby granted, permitted and made so as to permit Oakton
Corporation to construct and erect a 7-foot cyclone fence with a
1-foot overhang along the south, west, and north property lines
of the property commonly described as 636 Pitner Avenue, all in
accordance with the recommendations of the Zoning Board of Appeals.
SECTION 3s This ordinance shall be
in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval, according to lave.
