hereby made a part of this ordinance, be and the sue is hereby
vacated and closed, inasmuch as the corporate authorities of the
City of Evanston have determined that the public interest will be
subserved by vacating those portions of the public streots heroin -
above described, and that the nature and extent of public use and
public interest to be subserved is such as to currant the vacation
of said portions of the public streets.
SECTION 2: The City of Evanston
hereby reserves to
itself and to all public utilities owning public service facilitiot,
such rights -of -way and easements as are presently installed and -
located in those portions of the public streets hereby vacated,
together with the right of ingress and egress for the maintenance,
renewal and reconstruction thereof.
SECTION 3: This ordinance sball be
in full force and effect
upon the payment of compensation for the vacation of said public
streets as provided in an agreement between abutting property
owners and the City of Evanston, approved by the City Council of
the City of Evanston on January 2, 1963, but in no event later than
June 30, 1963. The City Clerk is hereby directed to file and causq
to be filed for record in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of
Cook County, Illinois, a certified copy of this ordinance, togethe
with the Plat made a part thereof, upon the effective date of this
ordinance.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 4f
EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: All that part of

Arrington .Avenue, bounded on the north by Emerson Street, on the
east by Chicago Avenue and Sheridan Road. and on the west by
Sherman Avenue and on the south by.Clark Street, and legally
described as
