AN ORDINANCE
Granting the appeal of Harold J.
Sandercock for a Variation from
the Front Yard Regulations of
the Evanston Zoning Ordinance,
Adopted November 21, 1960.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That a variation from the
front yard regulations of
the Evanston Zoning Ordinance, adapted November 21, 1960, so
far as said regulations pertain to the property in the City of
Evanston, located at.717 Emerson Street, and legally described
as -
-
The West 60 feet of the South 110 feet of
• a tract of land known as Lots 5 and 6 in
Black 5 in Evanston in the northwest quarter
of Section .18, Township 41 North, Range 14,
East of the Third Principal Meridian,
is hereby granted,.permitted and made so as to permit Harold J.
Sandercock to construct a seven unit apartment building located
at 717 Emerson Street, Evanston, Illinois, with a front yard of
seventeen (17) feet, provided that no part of the building or
any canopy shall extend into the requested 17 foot front yard,
and provided further that off-street parking for seven (7) cars
be provided on the premises, two spates at the rear of the
building and five spaces within the building, all in accordance
with the recommendations of the Zoning Board of Appeals.
SECTION 2: The Director of .Building
and Zoning Is ordered and
directed to grant a permit to Harold J. Sandercock, all in
• accordance with the findings and recommendations of the Zoning
Board of Appeals.

SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be
in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval in the manner pro-
vided by law.
