AN ORDINANCE
Granting the Appeal of Sheridan -
Willows Corporation for a varia-
tion from the Use Regulations of
the Evanston Zoning Ordinance.,
Adopted November 21, 1960
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:

Evanston, located of 511-513 Main Street, and legally de"scribed

Lot one in Block Two in Gibbs, Ladd and-George's
addition to Evanston, being a subdivision of
part, of the south half of the northeast one quar-ter of Section 19, Township 41 North, Range 1.4,
East of the Third Principal Meridian, Cook County,
Illinois. Also that part of the Lots 23 and 24
in Block 2 in Gibbs, Ladd, George's Addition to
Evanston as aforesaid, described as followst
Commencing at the southeast corner of Lot 24,
running thence northerly on the east line of
alley running north and south thro-jgh said block
to a .distance cf 70.33 feet, thence easterly at
right angles to the . Line of said alley 60 feet
thence southerly parallel to the east line of said
alley 79.67 feet to the -north line.of Main Street,
thence westerly along the north line of Main Street
60.73 feet to -the place of beginning,
is hereby granted, permitted and made so as to permit the
premises at 511-513 .Main Strut, Evanston, Illinois, to be
operated as the Thrift House, by the members .of the Junior
League of Evanston, provided that the applicant correct all
violations and make all necessary repairs as enumerated In a
lawsuit filed by the City of Evanston against the applicant and
Baird and Warner, Inc., filed to the Second Municipal Di.strictt

Circuit Court of Cook County, under Cases numbered 64 M 2-300
and 64 M 2-3010 all in accordance with the recommendations of
the City Council of'the City of Evanston.
SECTION 2: The Director of Building
and Zoning is ordered and
directed to grant such permits or certificates of occupancy
as shall be required to effectuate the recommendations of the
Zoning Board of Appeals and the City Council of the City of
Evanston, and tMe variation granted thereunder.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval, in the manner provided by
law.
