Use and Side Yard Regulations of the Evanston Zoning Ordinance, Adopted November 21, 1960 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOISs SECTION 1: That a variation from the use and side yard regula- tions of the Evanston Zoning Ordinance, adopted November 21, 1960. so far as said regulations pertain to the property In the City of Evanston, located at 171.4 Hinman Avenue, and legally described as Lot 13 (except the South 18 feet) and the South half of Lot 14 in Block 14 in the Village of Evanston in Section 180 Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the Third Principal. Meridian, Cook. County, Illinois, is hereby granted and made so as to permit the construction of a national headquarters building for Sigma Chi. Fraternity on the property located at 171.4 Hinman Avenue, subject to the following conditions: 1. That the building plans as determined by the Land Use Committee are compatible with nearby residences; 2. That the side yards be at least 10 feet on the north, and 5 feet on the south; 3. That the front yard be at least 30 feet deep; 4. That the total floor area of the building does not exceed 10,600 square feet, all in accordance with plans submitted to and the•recommendations- of the Zoning Board of Appeals. SECTION 2: The Director of Building and Zoning is ordered and directed to grant a -permit to Dr. Fred E. Willis, all in accordance with the findings and recommendations of the Zoning Board of Appeals. SECTION 31 This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval, in the manner provided by l6w.
