HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCES-1964-116-O-64116-0-64 AN ORDINANCE Amending Section IV, Subsection J of the Evanston Zoning Ordinance, s• Adopted November 21, 1960 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION l: That the following Paragraphs of the Evanston Zoning Ordinance, adopted November 21, 1960, as amended, be further amended so that the same shall hereafter be and read as follows: That Section IV, Paragraph J, Subparagraphs 2 and 3, be amended to read as follows: 112. In Side Yards: Fences not exceeding 8 feet in height when located along a lot line or an alley which provides a boundary between residential use on one side and business, commercial, or industrial use on the other. Fences not exceeding 6 feet in height in other locations. Open accessory off-street parking spaces and carports, except in required side yards. 113. In Rear Yards: Private garages or carports if attached or structurally a part of the principal building, private garages, detached, open accessory off-street parking spaces, accessory sheds, tool rooms, or other similar accessory buildings, recreational equipment and facilities, laundry drying equipment, arbors and trellises. Fences not exceeding 8 feet in height when located along a lot line or an alley which provides a boundary between residential use on one side and business, commercial, or industrial use on the other. Fences not exceeding 6 feet in height in other locations." A YO • • SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
