AN ORDINANCE
Granting the Appeal of John Lane
for a Variation from the Noncon-
forming Building Regulations of
the Evanston Zoning Ordinance,
Adopted November 21, 1960.
BE IT ORDAINED BY'THE'CITY`COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOISs
SECTION l: That a variation from the non-
conforming building regulations
under the Evanston Zoning Ordinance, adopted November 21, 19600
so far as said regulations pertain to the property in the City
of Evanston, located at 1125 Sherman Avenue, and legally de-
scribed is -
Lot 10 and the North 15 feet of Lot 11 (except
that portion, if any, of said North 15 feet falling
within the South 10 feet of said Lot 11) in
Fosterrs Subdivision of Lots 1 to 5 and 16 to
28 all inclusive in Block 1 in Hardin's Addition
to Evanston, in Section 19, Township 41 North,
Range 14, East of the Third Principal Meridian
in Cook County, Illinois,
Is hereby granted, permitted and made so as to permit John Lane
to construct a room addition on the rear of the two family
dwelling located at 1125 Sherman Avenue, subject to the condi-
tion that a four foot side yard be provided on the north and the
ceiling height of the dwelling unit in the basement shall be in
compliance with the City Code by December 1, 1965, all in
substantial accordance with the recommendations of the Zoning
Board. of Appeals.
SECTION 2: The Director of Building and
Zoning is ordered and directed
to grant a permit to John Lane, in accordance with the findings
and recommendations of the Zoning Board of Appeals.
