AN ORDINANCE
Granting the Appeal of A. H. Morby
& Sons for a Variation from the Use
Regulations of the Evanston Zoning
Ordinance, Adopted November 21, 1960.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY O1
EVANSTON', COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1; That a variation from the
use regulations of the
Evanston .Zoning Ordinance, adapted November 210 1960, so far as
said regulations pertain to the property in the City of Evanston,
located at 11.13-1117 Sherman Avenue, and legally described as -
1113 Sherman Avenue - The South 15 feet of Lot 150
Lot 16 and the North 20 feet of Lot 17 of A.
Foster's Subdivision of Lots 1 - 5 and 18 28 in
Block 1; Hardin's Addition to Evanston, a sub-
division of the South half, Northeast quarter,
Northwest quarter„ West of the Railroad in Section
19, Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, Cook County, Illinois;
1117 Sherman Avenue -*Lot 14, except the North 5
feet and the North 10 feet of Lot 15 in A. Foster's
Subdivision of Lots 1 - 5 and 18 - 28 in Block 1
of Hardin's Addition to Evanston, Section 19,
Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, Cook County, Illinois,
is hereby granted, permitted and made so as to permit A. H.
Morby 8 Sans to construct a.garage, in conformance with drawings
submitted to the Zoning Board of Appeals, for storage of trucks
and equipment at 1113 Sherman Avenue, and to permit the con -
tinned use of the property located at 111.3-1117 Sherman Avenue
for the storage of trucks and equipment for the masonry business,
subject to the conditions that 1) an 8-foot fence shall be in-
stalled around the storage area in the yard; 2) that nothing
• shall be stored above the height of the fence; 3) that the
storage area shall not extend beyond 60 feet west of the alley
line, all in accordance with the recommendations of the Zoning
Board of Appeals, as amended.
