AN ORDINANCE
Granting the Appeal of Harry Kaplan
for a Variation from the Rear Yard
Regulations of the Evanston Zoning
Ordinance, Adopted November 21, 1960
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
e EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOISi
SECTION 1: That a variation from the rear
yard regulations of the Evanston,
Zoning Ordinance, adopted November 21, 1960, so far as said
regulations pertain to the property in the City of Evanston,
located at 646 Fitner Avenue, and legally described as -
All that part of the North 100 feet of the West
• two-thirds of the Southwest quarter of the South-
west quarter of Section 24, Township 41 North,
Range 13,. East of the Third principal meridian,
described as follows; Beginning at the inter-
section of the easterly line of the right of way
of the Chicago and Northwestern Railway Company
with the North_ line of said Southwest quarter of
the Southwest quarter of Section 24; thence East
on said North line, 53,12 feet; thence south at
right angles to said North line, 100 feet; thence
West parallel to said North line, 99.15 feet, more
or less, to the Easterly line of the right of way
of said Railway Company; thence Northeasterly along
said right of way line, 110.09 feet,, more or less,
to the place of beginning, in the City of Evanston,
Cook County, Illinois, '
is hereby granted, permitted and made so as to permit the con-
struction of a loading dock with less than a 15«foot rear yard,
on the property located at 646 Pi.tner Avenue, subject to the
following conditions:
1) the owner shall make all necessary repairs to
the brick and tin building within 90 days,
• 2) the new loading dock shall be constructed in
accordance with City regulations,
all in accordance with the recommendations of the Zoning Board
of Appeals.

SECTION 2, The Director of Building is

a permit to Harry Kaplan:, all in accordant* with the findings
and rocommandatfona of the Zoning .Board of Appeals.
SECTION 31 This o.rdinsoce *hall be in

law.
