To Obtain Real Estate Held by First Park .district of the City of Evanston WHEREAS, the electors of the City of Evanston did by referendum on June 14, 1966, decide to dissolve the First Park District of the City of .Evanston; and WHEREAS, the First Park District of the City of Evanston is in the process of winding up the affairs of the District and is desirous of conveying title to certain real property owned by the First Park District of the City of Evanston to the City of Evanston, in accordance with the provisions of the statutes of the State of Illinois; and WHEREAS, the City Council, has determined that it is • necessary and convenient for the City of Evanston to use and occupy the -real estate, hereinafter described, presently awned by the First Park District of the City of Evanston; and WHEREAS.,,the consideration for said transfer has been agfeed upon by the corporate authorities of the First Park Dittrict- and the City of Evanston s NOWj THEREFORE", BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY CF .EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS; SECTION l; That it is hereby determined that it is necessary, convenient and desirable for the City of Evanston to acquire and to use and occupy the following described real estate in the City of Evanston, Cook County, Illinois, for park purposes; Marcel 1 F Lots 1 and 2 in Block 2 in Keoney and Rinn's Addition to Evanston, in the Southeast Quarter of Section 19, Township 41.North, Range 14, East of the Third Principal Meridian. 2 r; together with the vacated alley West of and • ad, olaing Lot l and the North 15 feet of Lot 2, in Cook County, I.11inolso Commonly known as Kelly park.
