t. 4 r ,e, u Revised 3-6-67 30-0.67 AN ORDINANCE Granting the Appeal of Patrick J,d Gaynor for a Variation from the Front Yard and Rear Yard Regulations of the Evanston Zoning Ordinance, Adopted November 21, 1960. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: That a variation from the front yard and rear yard regulations of the Evanston Zoning Ordinance, adopted November 21, 1960, so far as said regulations pertain to the property in the City of Evanston, located at 222.Chicago Avenue, and legally described as A part of the South half of the Northeast quarter of Section 300 Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows; Beginning at a point in the Southwesterly line of Chicago Avenue (now'Clark Street) as originally located 885 feet Northwesterly (measured along said Southwesterly street line and said street line pro- duced) from its intersection with the South .line of the Northeast quarter of said Section, thence con- tinuing Northwesterly along said street line and said street line produced (being the Westerly line of original Chicago Avenue) to the South line of Mulford Street, thence West on the South line of Mulford Street to the Easterly line of the right of way of the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad, thence South- easterly along said Easterly line of said right of way to the Northerly line of the land conveyed to the Chicago North Shore and Northern Railroad by special warranty deed dated dune 25, 1924 and recorded July 9, 1924 as document 8501712, thence Easterly 55.83 feet to the place of beginning (except therefrom that part thereof conveyed to Chicago Milwaukee and St. Paul Railway Company, by warranty deed recorded January 18, 1909 as document 4316127 described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the South line of Mulford Avenue and the :Nest side line of Chicago Avenue in the City of Evanston, thence Southeasterly along the hest line of Chicago Avenue, 186 feet to a point, thence West at right angles 53,5 feet to the Easterly right of way line of the Chicago and North Western Railroad, thence Northwesterly along the right of way line of said railroad 200 feet to the South line of Mulford Street, thence East along said South line of Mulford Street, being on a line parallel to and 66 feet South of the North line of said South half of the Northeast quarter of Section 313, 51.5 Feet to the place of beginning, in Cook County, Illinois, is hereby granted, permitted and made so as to permit the t construction of a monument shop with a front yard of ono foot . and without providing a rear yard, and with a chain -link fence in the front yard, can the property located at 222 Chicago Avenue,, Evanston, Illinois, in accordance with plans submitted and sub- ject to the condition that the ,property shall be recorded as 6ne t . lot of record within six,months, all in accordance with the recommendations of the Zoning Board of ,Appeals and the City Council of they City of Evanston. SECTION : The Director of Building i.s ordered and directed to issue all necessary permits to patritk J. Gaynor, all in accordance with the findings and recommendations of the Zoning Board of Appeals and the City Council of the City of Evanston.
