AN ORDINANCE
Granting the Appeal of Roger Kilby for
a Variation from the Use Regulations of
the Evanston Zoning Ordinance, Adopted
November 21, 1960.
a BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HE CITY OF
EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1. That a variation from the use
regulations of the Evanston
Zoning Ordinance, adopted November 21, 1960, so far as said
regulations ,certain to the property in the City of Evanston,
located at 1915 Main Street, and legally described as -
Lot 6 in Handler's Resubdivision of Lots lO to 16,
both inclusive, in Morelock's Resubdivision of
Lots 9 to 16, both; inclusive, in Black 8 and the
Vacated Alley (lying Last of and adjoining Lots
• 13, 14, 15 and 16 in said Bloch 8) in Grant's
Addition to Evanston, a subdivision of the East
two -third; of the South half of the Northwest
quarter of Section 24, Township 41 North, Range
13, Ehst of the Third 'principal Meridian, in
Cook County, Illinois, -
is hereby granted, permitted and made so as to permit the instal-
lation of a parking lot on the property located at 1915 Main
Street, Evanston, Illinois, subject to the following conditions:
l) that a 5-foot high stockade fencer shall be
installed on the west side of the parking area
immediately west of and adjacent to the existing
curb;
2) that ra front yard shall be maintained between
the sidewalk and the existing curb;
3) that compact hedge four feet in height shall be
installed on the south side of the parking area
Immediately south of the existing curb, and that
a lawn shall be maintained between the hedge and
the sidewalk;
• 4) that no truck parking shall be permitted on
Lot No. 6;
5) that all other provisions of the Zoning Ordinance
shall be complied with,
all in accordance with the recommendations of the Zoning Board
of Appeals* and the City Council of the City of Evanston.
SECTION 2: The Director of Building is
ordered and directed to grant
such, permits as shall be required to effectuate the recommends-
tions of the Zoning Board of Appeals, and the variation granted
