'82 IT ORDAINEU BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVA.N TON* COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 3 : All those portions of the public alleys lying in the block bounded by Main Street on the south, Lae Street can the north, Forest Avenue on the west, and Judson Avenue on the east# legally described as' - The sixteen (16) foot public alley described as the northerly sixteen (16) feet of lot five (5) and the thirteen (i3) foot public alley lying east of and adjoining the northerly sixteen (16) Bret of lot five (5) and all of lot four (4 ) except the northerly sixteen (16) feet thereof, all in Block I in the Resubdiv.ision of Blocks 4 and 5 in Gibbs, Ladd and Goorq e' s Addition to Evanston in the South half of. the Northeast Fractional quarter of Section lg, 'Township 41 :earth, Range 1.4, East of the Third Principal .Morl.dian in Cook County, Illinois, as cross -hatched and indicated by the words "HEREBY VACAiEo" on the iketch hereto attached, which sketch for greater certainty Is hereby made a part of this ordinance, be and the some is hereby vacated and closed, inasmuch as the save is no longer required for public use and the public will be subserved by such vacation, provided, however, that said vacation shall be subject to any public utilities presently installed or located there in, together with right of egress and ingress for maintenance of the some. • SECTION 2: This ordinance shall not take effect and shall not be in farce and effect until the following conditions heretofore agreed upon between the City of Evanston and School District 65 are concluded: (1) that Schaal District #65 dedicate the northerly 16 feet of Lot 4 in Block 1, in the resubdivision of Blocks 4 and a in Gibbs, Ladd and George's Addition to Evanston for alley purposes; (2) that the dedicated alley be delivered to the City free of any taxes; (3) that •the dedicated alley be paved in accordance with the requirements of the Public Works Direc- tor and a catchbasin be installed at the inter- section with the present north and south alley; (4) that the present alley return be removed, curb and sidewalk constructed across this return, and the parkway restored,. And further subject to the condition that the City Clerk shall file or cause to be filed for record in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, a certified copy of this ordinance together with the Plat made a part thereof.
