AN ORDINANCE
Granting the Appeal of the Clerics of
St. Viator for a Variation from the
Nonconforming Use and Occupancy of
Dwelling Units Regulations of`the
Evanston Zoning Ordinance, Adapted
November 21, 1960.
WEER AS# the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of
Evanston has taken tostimonyl has heard the facts and has `
considered this matter* and has recommended granting the appeal
of the Clerics of St. Viator for a variation from the noncon-
forming use and occupancy of dwelling units regulations of the
Evanston Zoning Ordinance# adopted November 21# 19601 and
WHMEAS, it has boon shown that uniquo circumstances exist
in that the property has boon occupied for 13 years by the
Clerics of St. ViatOr with no adverse offect can the neighbor-

to the property in the City of +ranstan, 'lo+cated at 1100 Forest
Avenue, and legally described as «,
Lots S, 9, 10* 11, 12, 13,E 14 and 15 (except the
North 20 feet of said Lot 15 conveyed to the City
of Evanston for use as an alley by Dead dated
April. 28, 1694 and recorded June 26, 1694 in Book
4532# page 203, as Document No. 2065497) in Block
79 of Northwestern University Subdivision of that
part of the North half of the North half of Section
190 Township 41 North, Range 14, East of the Third
Principal Meridian* lying East of Chicago Avenue,
• except 1%' acres in the Northeast corner theareof,

occupancy by more than throe unrol,ated persons of the promises
commonly known as UOO Forest Avenueg Evanston, Illinois, and
owned by the Clerics of St. Viator# subject to the following

(1.) that such use shall be permitted onl during
the ownership and occupancy by the C�etr3cs
of St. Viator;
(2) that occuparnc shall be limited to residential
use only by s persons in the train building and
to residential use by throe persons .in the
second building; .and
(3) that a covenant of agreement to the above
conditions shall be submitted in recordable
form by the appollants,
all in accordance with the a rocommondations of the Zoning Board
of Appeals and the City Council of the City of Evanston.
SECTION 2 t The Diroctor of Building is
orderod and directed to grant such
permits or certificates of occupancy as shall be required to
effectuate the recommendations of they Zoning Board of Appeals
and the City Council of the City of Evanston.

its passage and approval, in the manner provided by law.
