AN ORDINANCE
• Granting a Special Use Permit to
Carol Buick, Inc.
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appear has recommended
that the application of Carol Buick, Inc. for a Special Use
Permit to allow open storage of automobiles on the property
located at 1002 Chicago Avenue, Evanston, Illinois, be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF EVANSTON, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the recommendation of the
Zoning Board of Appeals is here-
by confirmed and the Director of Building is ordered and directed
to grant a permit to Carol Buick, Inc. to allow open storage of
automobiles on the property located at 1.002 Chicago Avenue, and
legally described as -
Lot 6 in Mersch Heirs' Subdivision of that part
• between Chicago Avenue and Railroad lands of the
South 25 acres of Forth 50 acres of a 942 acre
tract described as the South half of the North-
east fractional quarter of Section 190 Township
41 North, Range 14, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.,
subject to the following conditions:
(1) that the open parking lot shall be surfaced
and drained in accordance with regulations in
Section X,B.9.b. of the Zoning Ordinance of
the City of Evanston, and
(2) that no stringer lights or pennants be installed,
all in accordance with the recommendations of the Zoning Board
of Appeals.
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be in full
force and effect: from and after
its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
